"Mums in a prayer" in Russia is a female prayer service in which any mum can take part, wishing to pray for the children, their schools, colleges, institutes, etc. educational institutions. In the Christian world it is known as the International Association "Mums in a prayer".
THE PURPOSES AND SERVICE PROBLEMS "MUMS IN THE PRAYER"
- To stand in a prayer for our children, to pray for well-being of our families
- To pray for that our children have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and the Savior and were firm in belief
- To pray for teachers, administration and pupils, that they have believed in Jesus Christ
- To pray for our schools, that they were guided by bible principles, prays for the Divine protection and protection of all educational institutions in which our children study.
- To serve as encouragement and to support to mothers having special difficulties in the families.
Having formed in 1984, today service unites mums more than from 90 countries of the world. Among them mum of America, Russia, England, Germany, Moldova, India, Egypt, South Korea, Tanzania, Switzerland, Guatemala, the republic of South Africa and many other things. Their parent love and belief owing to a prayer connects continents, removes language barriers, eliminates national and racial distinctions, and pulls together denominations.
The Russian mums have learned about this remarkable service in the early nineties. For last four years the Lord has especially blessed and has extended service "Mums in a prayer". More than 70 prayer conferences and seminars have been spent by the coordinator of service by Diana Kondratieva in different cities of our country and the CIS countries. Mums from Moscow and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, from St.-Petersburg and Stavropol, from Surgut and Tashkent, Zaporozhe and Yakutsk have risen on this service. More than 2000 prayer groups operate now in different cities, the big and small, different settlements of our country.
The international Association "Mums in a prayer" isn't the political organization.
Simply mums who gather in small prayer groups on 2-3 persons (and more) and devote it one hour per week to a prayer about the families, children and places of their training. For it is written down in a God’s Word: "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them" (Mt. 18,19-20).
Except mums, it also grandmothers, girls, and also other women, wishing to pray for well-being of the (present or future) families, for the concrete child and its school. Feature of these prayer groups is the consent of women to unite in an unanimous prayer of glorification of our God, confession, gratitude and the petition for the near. Women also learn to use correctly God’s Word that gives to their prayer special force and confidence in Divine promises.
"Mums in the Prayer" are mums who trust in changing force of the PRAYER. They are mums ready at any moment to give prayer support for people, which passes through special heavy tests. They are mums who dare to ask from God "impossible", and receive answer!
