Thanksgiving service

On December, 31st - last day of 2010 year, there was a prayer service.
People, who gathered have uplifted praise and thanksgiving to our Lord for His plentiful blessings this year.
Each brother and the sister have short told about what successes in work, study, service, a family they have reached due to God's help. In our life we meet not only good, but also the negative moments. But, just in difficulties, we start to understand distinctly how the Lord is close to us at this time. And He stretches in the wonderful image His hand of the help.
It was very joyful to learn that this year many brothers and sisters have started to participate in church services. For example, sister Svetlana Melnikova this year has organized and conducts service of "Mums in prayer". Sister Svetlana Semenova has shared about the blessings she has received, participating in children's service. Brother Andrey Malyhin told about service in prisons and houses for aged. Heart fill the joy, that the criminals who are in prison, read the Gospel. Many of them are changed for the better.
Very joyful event was brothers who came from the rehabilitation centers. In the past - addicts, and now - our brothers, who actively participate in church service. Their parents, wives who, have practically lost hope, have personally seen, how God can change the person, and now all of theyr families visit church and join church life. And their children with pleasure attend Sunday school.
Life of the Christian is very various and surprising. We trust, as the next 2011 will bring to us many blessings from God. We glorify the Lord for Its boundless love. And next year, undoubtedly, still many people will accept Jesus as theyr own Lord and Savior.
