1.1. Creation sources.
The history of creation of Udomlya baptist church begins with prayers and evangelism of church of Vyshniy Volochok. Still before (1982-1984) brother Bulbotko Leonid, nowadays pastor of V.Volochok church, passed military service in building military unit of Udomlya. On Leonid's memoirs, there was a whole group of believing brothers. Depending on a year of an appeal one brothers left, others came, but, despite it, they constantly gathered for a joint prayer. Against own needs and experiences the prayer about blessing of Udomlya and formation of church of believers was always allocated. When there was a possibility, brothers visited services in V.Volochok church.
Have passed years of service, brother Leonid has made decision to remain in the church grown fond to it. Simultaneously at them the friendship with brother Gennady Gorbunov is fastened. Have passed years. The young growing city of Udomlya accepted in the numbers of the new inhabitants, new families. The family of Oganisjan of Aram and Silva, arrived to our city in 1985 was one of them. However, at that time Silva was the believer only. The husband completely supported it and did not object, but itself at that time yet has not devoted itself entirely to the Lord. (He has repented in 1996). As church in a city still was not, on services it was necessary to get out in V.Volochok. In 1992, in the winter they have got acquainted with Gennady Gorbunov and Leonid Bulbotko young families. On holidays began to invite brothers from V.Volochok church to itself to apartment in Udomlya. During similar meetings God has sent to hearts desire to organise as soon as possible evangelism. Began to pray. Possibility has appeared.
